SBQ Emulsions
KIWO Polycol SBQ Emulsions

KIWO Polycol SBQ Emulsions
SBQ emulsions are one-component emulsion systems that are pre-sensitized and ready for use. They usually offer very fast exposure speed and can be used universally, but often are developed for specific applications and exposure equipment such as direct projection, high emulsion over mesh ratio or for coarse mesh counts. SBQ emulsions are typically resistant to UV, solvent-based and Plastisol inks.

For digital direct exposure systems (CTS) and projection cameras
Polycol Light-Scribe ER
For ultra thick stencils Polycol Thick-Coat

POLYCOL CROSSOVER

POLYCOL CROSSOVER provides great versatility and sets a new standard for high quality SBQ emulsions for garment printers. Outstanding resolution, no solvent lock-in, and extremely easy developing and reclaiming define POLYCOL CROSSOVER. Red pre-sensitized POLYCOL CROSSOVER is plastisol, UV, and solvent resistant. No mixing, one-year pot-life, and exposure speeds three to four times faster than that of a dual cure's make this new emulsion very user friendly.

POLYCOL DISCHARGE

POLYCOL DISCHARGE is a high solids, very fast-exposing, pre-sensitized, blue SBQ emulsion specially formulated for printing with discharge, water-based, and plastisol inks. POLYCOL DISCHARGE allows printers using discharge and water-based inks to get screens on press faster by eliminating the need for diazo sensitizer and stencil hardeners. However, using Diazo D (supplied separately at no charge upon request) and stencil hardeners may be required when using inks that are characteristically more aggressive, or when processing variables that are not completely controlled.

Viscosity: ~6,500 mPas
Solids content: 44%

Container sizes: Quart, 1-gallon, 5-gallon and 55-gallon drums.
Color: blue

POLYCOL ONE-COAT

POLYCOL ONE-COAT is a high solids, extremely fast exposing emulsion for printing garments with plastisol, water-based, and discharge inks. This emulsion is specifically developed for screen room efficiency and high processing speed, thereby reducing the coating, drying and exposing times. Optimal stencil thickness is achieved by applying one coat of emulsion on each side of the screen.

Viscosity: ~8,000 mPas
Solids content: 44%

Container sizes: Quart, 1-gallon, 5-gallon and 55-gallon drums.
Color: blue

Product Number: 21848-(size)

POLYCOL THICK-COAT

POLYCOL THICK-COAT is a very high solids and viscosity, fast exposing pre-sensitized red SBQ emulsion specially formulated for creating thick stencils and for dip-free coating on coarse mesh counts. POLYCOL THICK-COAT is plastisol, UV, water and solvent resistant. POLYCOL THICK-COAT builds up quickly and has exceptional edge definition and resolution. Unlike most emulsions used for making thick stencils, POLYCOL THICK-COAT develops (washes out) very quickly saving valuable processing time. POLYCOL THICK-COAT's solvent resistance prevents solvents from "locking in" the emulsion making reclaiming easier.

Viscosity: ~60,000 mPas
Solids content: 51%

Container sizes: Quart, 1-gallon, 5-gallon and 55-gallon drums.
Color: Light red
